With over 35 years of experience in risk and insurance management, Mike came to the firm in August 2009. As Vice President of Commercial Lines Marketing, his responsibilities include new business growth on the property/casualty side of the agency.

He was previously Senior Vice President of CBIZ Risk & Consulting Services, and Corporate Risk Manager of CBIZ, Inc. (parent company to CBIZ Risk & Consulting Services).

He attained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1979, the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1984, and the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) in 1998. He is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, with graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh and St. Francis University. His expertise from industry specifics is widespread regionally as well as national in scope. His peers seek Mike out frequently for his views on risk management and he speaks often throughout the country on risk management topics.

Mike is a past president of the Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA) of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, and a past president of PIA’s Service Corporation. He is also a past chairman of the Board of Governors of the Society of Certified Insurance Representatives and a former governor of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, both in Austin, Texas.
